Welcome to another edition of Macro monday. This is what is blooming right now in my garden.
Snail vine finally in bloom. Very sweet fragrance.
You will find all 3 colors on this vine. White, then purple and last one yellow. Very heat tolerant vine.
I captured this gram blue butterfly on the flower of hyacinth bean vine. Very fast growing vine and a relative of snail vine.

It does look like a snail the way it is curled around itself. How unique!

Lovely macros - the DoF is gorgeous.
Happy MM.
These blooms are absolutely fantastic. I have never seen anything like it before. And the photos you took are terrific.
I’m cutting this comment short because I want to do some extensive research about this highly unusual plant. Thanks for introducing it.
Khabbab, This is a true beauty.I wish flowers lasted a bit longer but what else do you want when you have a vine which is hardy enough to take the heat of Lahore in the summe , manages to hold on in the winter chill and produce such beautiful flowers with great fragrance. What's more it puts a show in spring as well.
OK. I’ve just done some research and discovered that these cordscrew-like flowers are eatable. Well, being vegan myself, that always excites me. Imagine how beautiful it would look in a tomato salad. Yum!
Gorgeous flowers! love all your flower shots here, amazingly beautiful,
The snail vine is beautiful and unusual looking. I also love your flowers on the home page of Today's Flowers today.
This snail flower is completely new to me. How beautiful! And so beautifully photographed. Congratulations on being Guest Friend on Today's Flowers. I LOVE the hosta blooms on top, the faded rose not so much, lobelia is lovely. It's amazing to me that you have many of the same flowers growing in Pakistan, halfway around the world from Seattle, USA.
And I'm your newest follower, too.
